BNP, Jamat’s anti-state activities will be faced politically: Rail Minister

Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujon today said that the BNP-Jamat’s anti state activities will be faced politically.
For this reason, all the leaders and workers of the party must be united and alert against the quarter, he said this while addressing a preparatory meeting on the occasion of the upcoming central council of Bangladesh Awami League (AL) at its local office here as chief guest.
District Awami League general secretary Anwar Sadat Samrat, central Krishak League vice-chairman Abdul Latif Tarin, central Jubo league leader Barrister Kousik Nahian Navid, Zila Parishad chairman Abdul Hannan Sheikh and Mayor of local municipality Zakia Katun, addressed, among others.
Later, the Minister visited the Bir Muktijoddha Sirajul Islam Rail Station here. He also talked to some railway passengers about the ongoing rail service. The Minister has given an order to the Station Master for keeping the station as clean and passenger friendly.
Rail station officers and local political leaders were present at that time.
