Govt remains in power by deceiving the people: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Saturday said that this government has remained in power by fooling and deceiving the people of Bangladesh.

He said, 'This government must leave the power. They will be defeated through a people's upheaval and a people's government will be established.'

The BNP leader said these while participating in the sit-in program in front of the auditorium of the Engineers Institution of the capital on Saturday. The program was organized by the initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BNP.

Calling on the people, Fakhrul said, 'Be alert now, be alert, those who are suppressing all dissenters, killing, disappearing, torturing, imprisoning people today to hold power illegally, you will not be able to escape from them. So today it is everyone's responsibility to build a united resistance.

BNP Secretary General said, "Recently there was a meeting where the Chief Election Commissioner said - take all measures for the election." Take pre-selection measures if necessary. That is, they want to take a different strategy. They want to go to power as before by fooling the entire nation by selecting earlier. This time the people will not let any of your strategies succeed. The people will not step into any of your traps, this time they will resist.

He said, "I have always said that this government does not respect democracy. This government does not care about people's opinions; Their only aim is to stay in power. Under them, two elections have been held at gunpoint by force.

Mirza Fakhrul said the people of this country have never accepted injustice. They always protested against injustice.
