BNP chairperson’s advisor Muktadir arrested from Sylhet airport

BNP chairperson’s advisor Khandaker Abdul Muktadir has been arrested from Osmani International Airport in Sylhet around 3.00 pm on Saturday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police Sudeep Das said there was arrest warrant against Muktadir in a case filed in 2018 under the Special Powers Act.
Police arrested the BNP leader upon his arrival in the airport from Dhaka, he added.
Muktadir was taken to Kotwali Police Station in the afternoon after his arrest.
