Cricketer Mosharraf Hossain Rubel dies

Cricketer Mosharraf Hossain Rubel, who had been battling cancer, died on Tuesday, family sources said.
The cricketer breathed his last at United Hospital in the afternoon. Left-arm spinner Rubel was diagnosed with a brain tumor in March 2019. However, Rubel recovered through treatment before his tumor resurfaced last year in January.
Rubel represented Bangladesh in five ODIs in between 2008 to 2016.
Mosharraf Rubel played five ODIs in the national team. He made his ODI debut in 2006 against South Africa. He also took 392 wickets in 112 first-division matches. He also played 104 matches in ‘list A’ and took 120 wickets.
