Zimbabwe Captain Craig Ervine asked Bangladesh to bowl first in the opening game of the three-match T20 series after winning the toss at Harare Sports Club today.

Bangladesh who announced a squad for the first time without any senior players are upbeat to get back into their groove after winning just one game in the last 13 matches.

Nurul Hasan Sohan, who is appointed as the interim captain, said their target is to play a fearless brand of cricket as they are seeking a good preparation for the upcoming Asia Cup T20 tournament and T20 World Cup, reports BSS.

Sohan is confident that with the squad they are capable of winning all three matches in the series even though he conceded Zimbabwe will be a tough nut to crack at their backyard.

Last time, Bangladesh played here a T20 series, they won it by 2-1. Overall Bangladesh won 11 matches and lost 5 in 16 matches between the two sides.

Zimbabwe will be participated without the service of their two best bowlers-- Tendai Chatara and Blessing Muzarabani-- who played a vital part in helping them to qualify the T20 World Cup. But both of them were ruled out of the series due to injuries.
