Cricketer Al Amin dowry case: Court fixes Sep 21 for probe report submission

A Dhaka court has fixed September 21 for submission of the probe report in the case against national team cricketer Al-Amin Hossain, in a case filed over by his wife, Israt Jahan, on charges of abusing her for dowry.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehedi Hasan passed the order on Friday (September 2).

The court asked Md. Shohel Rana, sub-inspector of Mirpur Model police station to submit the probe report.

Sub-inspector Sheikh Rakibul Islam, official of general register wing of the police station confirmed the matter.

Earlier, the case was filed against Bangladesh national cricketer Al-Amin Hossain by his wife, Israt Jahan, on charges of abusing her for dowry. Israt had filed a written complaint with Mirpur police station and later police registered it as a case on Thursday night.
