Bangladesh beat Singapore 3-0 to qualify for second round

Bangladesh U-17 women's football team defeated hosts Singapore 3-0 at Jalan Besar Stadium in Kallang on Sunday to advance to the second round of AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup 2024 qualifiers.
Forward Sauravi Akanda Prity converted a spot-kick in each half, and Sultana Akter found the net in the 62nd minute to cap off Bangladesh's successful qualification bid.
Bangladesh, placed in Group D, thrashed Turkmenistan 6-0 in their first opening-round match at the same venue last Wednesday.
