Tk 1,099cr proposed for Information and Broadcasting Ministry

The government has proposed allocating Taka 1,099 crore for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in the national budget for the financial year (FY) 2022-23 which was Taka 1,061 crore in the revised budget for FY 2021-22.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal proposed the allocation while placing the budget for fiscal 2022-23 in parliament here today with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
The government had allocated Taka 1,008 crore for this ministry in the proposed budget for FY 2021-22 while its revised budget in the current fiscal was Taka 1061 crore.
