Tk 11cr looted from Dutch-Bangla Bank vehicle

Over Tk 11 crore was looted from a vehicle of Dutch-Bangla Bank when it was on the way to refill ATMs in Savar this morning.
"The incident took place around 7:30 am in Dhaka's Turag area when officials of a private security agency were going toward Savar on a microbus to refill the money at ATMs after collecting the cash from the bank's office in Mirpur," inspector (investigation) of Turag Police Station Shariful Islam said.
Police said a group of armed goons intercepted the vehicle and looted the money at gunpoint. "We're trying to arrest the goons and recover the looted money," said Shariful Islam.
