Gold prices hit record high as per bhori exceed Tk 98 thousand

Gold is going to be traded at the highest price in Bangladesh after the Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (Bajus) decided to hike prices by Tk 7,698 per bhori on Sunday.
From now, buyers will have to pay Tk 98,794 for each bhori of 22-carat gold, according to a Bajus press release.
For the first time in the history of the country, the price of a gold has exceeded Tk 98 thousand per bhori.
Now, the price of 22-carat of gold has been raised to Tk 98,794 a bhori (11.664 grams) from Tk 91,096 per bhori, 21-carat Tk 94,303, 18-carat Tk 80,832, and gold of traditional method Tk 67,301 respectively.
Bajus took the decision as the price went up in the international and local bullion markets.
