Girls ahead in pass rate

The female students achieved better results than the male students in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
The pass rate of female students under eight general education boards is 94.50 percent while the rate of male students is 92.69 percent. The statistic shows that females are ahead with 1.81% points more than males.
A total of 1,098,301 female students appeared in the examinations while 1,037,918 passed it.
