Mymensingh sees highest pass rate, Barishal lowest

Mymensingh education board saw the highest 97.52 per cent pass in this year's SSC examinations while Barishal board the lowest 90.19 per cent.

The average of the country's nine education boards is 94.04 per cent.

In total, 93.15 percent students passed the SSC exams under Dhaka Board, 91.12 percent under Chattogram, 96.27 percent in Cumilla, 96.78 percent in Sylhet, 94.80 percent in Dinajpur, 93.09 percent in Jashore, 97.52 percent in Mymensingh, and 94.71 percent in Rajshahi Board.

A total of 49,530 students scored GPA-5 in Dhaka board, 12,791 in Chattogram, 14,626 in Cumilla, 10,219 in Barishal, 4,834 in Sylhet, 17,578 in Dinajpur, 16,461 in Jashore, 27,709 in Rajshahi and 10,092 in Mymensingh.

This year, the exams took place between November 14 and 23 -- nine months after the scheduled time due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
