20 die of Covid, 15,440 fresh cases detected 24hrs

Bangladesh reported 20 more Covid-19 deaths with 15,440 fresh cases in 24 hours till Friday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily positivity rate rose to highest-ever 33.37 per cent from Thursday’s 31.98 per cent after testing 46,292 samples.
The country logged its highest daily positivity rate at 32.55% on July 24 last year reporting 6,780 cases and 195 deaths.
