24 deaths from Covid-19, 2,584 fresh cases detected 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported 2,584 Covid-19 cases and 24 more deaths linked it in the past 24 hours till Friday morning, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in its routine daily statement.
The country reported 9.31 percent Covid-19 positive cases as 27,765 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, the combined figure of coronavirus in Dhaka city and upazilas of the district is 1,444 while eleven Covid-19 deaths were reported during the period.
The official tally showed that the virus killed 28,931 people and infected 19,29,154 so far, the statement added.
The recovery count rose to 17,37,854 after another 9,988 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the past one day.
