No Covid-19 death, new cases 92 in 24 hours

No Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8:00am on Thursday, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The press release added that the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains 29,118 and the death rate is 1.49 percent.
At least 92 new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in the 24 hours. The total number of cases rose to 19,51,072, the release added.
The current positivity rate is 0.76 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.18 percent, said the press release.
A total of 12,111 samples were tested across the country during this time.
The new release added that at least 1,114 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,78,880 and the recovery rate at 96.09 percent.
