The Embassy’s Civil Military Support Element Team (CMSE) commenced the opening ceremony of the Medical First Responder Seminar (MFRS) in Rangpur.
Members of the Rangpur Fire Service Civil Defense (FSCD) and Bangladesh Police attended this week-long seminar in order to learn crucial lifesaving skills, said a press release on Wednesday.
After several days of in-depth classes and practical exercises, the students’ first aid abilities and confidence were tested in a simulated bus crash where they encountered lacerations, fractures, and respiratory and head injuries.
Through the MFRS, these newly trained first responders will take these skills into their daily duties to create a safer community for Rangpur.
