Bangladesh logs two Covid-19 deaths in 24 hrs

Bangladesh today logged two COVID-19 deaths while it recorded 15.66 percent positivity rate of coronavirus during the period.
The country reported 1,680 Covid-19 positive cases as 10,728 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.," Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) sources said.
During the past 24 hours, the combined figure of coronavirus infection in Dhaka city and upazilas of the district is 1,513 while two Covid-19 deaths were reported during the period.
The official tally showed that the virus killed 29,140 people and infected 19,65,173 so far, the statement added.
The recovery count rose to 19,06,688 after another 169 patients were discharged from the dedicated hospitals during the past one day.
