3rd Omicron case detected in Bangladesh

Bangladesh has detected its third case of the Covid-19 variant Omicron.
The global genome sequence database GISAID on Monday confirmed this.
According to the GISAID, the patient is a 56-year-old man living in Dhaka. His sample was collected on December 23.
Earlier, two players of the Bangladesh Women's National Cricket team were infected with Omicron.
