Her sparkly silver gown deserves all credit. Miss Universe Thailand Anna Sueangam-iam wore an upcycled dress designed by Manirat which was made from pull-tabs of drink cans and Swarovski combined, for the preliminary round of the beauty pageant.

The gown holds a special place for Anna though. Anna's father is a garbage collector and her mother is a street sweeper. As shared by Anna through her Instagram post, the unique outfit was purposefully tailored-made with discarded and recycled materials, namely the 'Can Tab' to present to the universe that what's considered worthless by many actually possesses its own value and beauty. It wasn't just the dressed but her ode to parents too that won across this universe.

Anna Sueangam-iam's outfit for the prelim show signified representation of her country and sent the message of 'Power of Unity' through her cape.

Anna wore a chic red mini dress for one of the events of the Miss Universe competition. The strapless outfit feature-like details at the neckline and had a glamorous bodycon fit. She accessorised it with a pair of dangling earrings to ensure she is the most stunning beauty queen around.

Divita Rai, India's entry to the pageant, for the national costume round of the Miss Universe pageant, made a style statement that too had a special meaning.

She wore a custom-made golden ensemble by designer Abhishek Sharma which represented 'Sone ki Chidiya' or 'The Golden Bird' owing to India's rich culture and traditions. The phenomenal outfit featured gold metallic embellishments and intricate structures made by fine artists and craftsmen of the designer.
