Reserved zone for women in Cox’s Bazar cancelled

The district administration has cancelled its decision to keep a separate zone for women and children visiting Cox’s Bazar sea beach in the face of backlash from the netizens.
The decision came Wednesday night just after 10 hours of implementing the idea of keeping a dedicated area for women in the beach.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mamunur Rashid inaugurated a separate ‘reserved area’ for women and children at Labani Point on the beach around 12 noon on Wednesday.
