Bangladesh observes one-day state mourning in memory of UAE President

Bangladesh observed one-day state mourning on Saturday in honour of its "real friend" the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who breathed his last on Friday.
National flag was kept at half-mast at all government, semi-government and autonomous bodies and educational institutions and Bangladesh missions abroad in observance of the mourning day.
Special doa was offered at all mosques today seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of the UAE President. Besides, special prayers were offered at other places of worship seeking eternal peace of the departed soul.
The one-day mourning was observed as per notification of the Cabinet Division issued on Friday.
