Three SPs now sent on forced retirement

The government has sent three superintendents of police on retirement, said a public administration ministry gazette notification.
The notification signed by Akhtar Hossain, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday (October 18).
According to the notification, BCS (Police) cadre members of Police Superintendent Mirza Abdullahel Baki (BP-6493020843), Delwar Hossain Mia (BP-6791093468) of Dhaka Police Department and Superintendent of Police (TR) Shahidullah Chowdhury (BP-65910209450) of Dhaka Police Directorate have been retired from public service in the public interest as per the provisions of Public Service Act 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018).
The order issued in public interest will come into effect immediately, the notification said.
Before that the information and broadcasting secretary Md Mokbul Hossain was sent on 'forced' retirement on Sunday.
