Khandker Golam Faruk made new DMP commissioner

The government has appointed Additional Inspector General of police, Khandker Golam Faruk as the new commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
In a notification issued by the Public Security Division of home ministry this morning said the order would come into effect from October 29.
Faruk, also a member of the 12th BCS batch, is currently serving as the Rector (Additional Inspector General of police) of the Police Staff College Bangladesh.
