3,845 businessmen affected in Bangabazar fire: DSCC

A total of 3,845 businessmen were affected by the fire at Bangabazar Shopping Complex last week, according to a Dhaka South City Corporation probe committee report.
On Tuesday (April 11), the public relations department of DSCC informed this information.
According to the public relations department, the eight-member committee submitted its final report to DSCC Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh at 5:00pm today.
The committee prepared the report after talking to the security guards of the market, businessmen, shop owners, employees and eyewitnesses.
On April 4, a massive fire broke out in Bangabazar Shopping Complex that destroyed the entire market.
