Govt terminating the officials in fear of losing power: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged that the government is now terminate the officials of the republic for fear of losing power.
The government is very nervous. The government is so nervous that they are now firing republican officials out of fear. But they will not be stay in power to doing this, he added.
Mirza Fakhrul said this in a rally in front of the central office in Nayapaltan on Thursday afternoon in view of the compulsory retirement of some of the top officials of the government.
This rally was held to protest against beatings, false cases, arrests, cancellation of bail and sent to prisons of leaders and activists, attacks torture by Awami League terrorists and police at the initiative of the Metropolitan North and South BNP.
Pointing out that the Awami League government has no right to rule the country, he said that they have failed in all areas.
He urged the government to resign immediately and hold elections under a neutral government.
Mirza Fakhrul claimed that the reserve is going to down that is why the government is not able to repay the loan from foreigners. As a result, foreigners will stop lending.
BNP Secretary General said that the government is creating obstacles in the democratic movement from all directions. Transport to the divisional rally in Mymensingh was stopped. Similarly, in Khulna they stopped public transport two days ago. What is the benefit? Do people stop? People attend the rally by walking in groups. The same thing will happen in Khulna. Millions of people will attend the rally in Khulna as well, he added.
