NBR develops e-Return filing model for taxpayers

National Board of Revenue (NBR) has developed an e-return filing model for the convenience of taxpayers.
NBR member (Tax policy) Md Alamgir Hossain confirmed the matter saying using the method, the taxpayers will be able to do everything including making return file, filing return, taking e-TIN number by sitting at home.
He made the remarks while delivering his speech as the chief guest at an event jointly organized by Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) and Golden Bangladesh at ERF auditorium Tuesday.
Alamgir said: “The system is currently designed for salaried employees and small entrepreneurs (those with low incomes).”
This will help the taxpayers to stay risk free with income tax, he added.
