Director General of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) AHM Shafiquzzaman on Wednesday said edible oil is being sold at government-fixed price.
"The country has adequate stocks of edible oil. There is no problem in the supply structure and the government has ensured the sale of oil at the fixed price," he said while exchanging views with mill owners at the headquarters of the DNCRP in the city, said a press release.
On March 20, the government fixed the price of bottled soybean oil at Taka 160 per liter, loose soybean oil at Taka 136 per liter and palm oil at Taka 130 per liter.
