Bangladesh Bank to release new note of Tk 1000 on Thursday

Bangladesh Bank (BB) will issue new bank notes of Tk1,000 denomination on Thursday.
The note, signed by its governor Abdur Rouf Talukder, will be issued from the Motijheel office of Bangladesh Bank.
Later this note will be available in other offices of Bangladesh Bank, said a BB press release on Wednesday.
Besides the newly printed notes, other notes of Tk 1,000 denomination currently in circulation will remain as valid notes.
