Electricity price hiked again within a month

The government increased the electricity price once again within a month by 5 percent per unit at the retail level, which would be effective from March 1.
In a government notification on Tuesday night, the price of electricity per unit has been increased by 5 percent at the consumer level.
Before this, electricity prices were increased twice last January. In the latest notification dated January 30, electricity prices were increased by 5 percent at the retail level and 8 percent at the wholesale level.
