Gold prices hit record high as per bhori exceed Tk 99 thousand

Gold is going to be traded at the highest price in Bangladesh after the Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (Bajus) decided to hike prices by Tk 350 per bhori on Saturday.
From now, buyers will have to pay Tk 99,144 for each bhori of 22-carat gold, according to a Bajus press release.
For the first time in the history of the country, the price of a gold has exceeded Tk 99 thousand per bhori.
Bajus took the decision as the price went up in the international and local bullion markets.
On March 18, the association increased prices of the popular metal to its previous historic high of Tk 98,794 a bhori citing higher cost of pure gold in the local market.
