KUET closed till Dec 13

Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) has been declared closed till December 13 amid tension gripping the campus over the death of a teacher of the university and instructed students to leave dormitories by 4pm.
The decision came today from its 76th syndicate meeting held on the campus with Vice-Chancellor Dr Professor Kazi Sazzad Hossain in the chair, said a press release signed by KUET acting registrar Engineer Md Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan.
Fearing to create anarchy and deteriorate of law and order situation on the campus after an unnatural death of Dr Md Selim, Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department, the authorities of the university took the decision, the release said.
