Shah Azam made new VC of Rabindra University

Professor Md Shah Azam has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of Rabindra University.
A gazette notification, signed by Md Mahmudul Alam, deputy secretary of the ministry of education, was issued on Tuesday (December 7) in this regard. The notification was issued following the order from the president.
Professor Md Shah Azam, a teacher of marketing department of Rajshahi University, has been appointed as the VC of Rabindra University for four years' tenure, it added.
In this connection, Md Sohrab Ali, registrar of the university, said they have already got the official information about the appointment of the new VC.
Professor Dr Shah Azam is the second vice chancellor of the university.
Established in 2017 in Sirajganj's Shahzadpur upazila, Rabindra University's first vice chancellor Professor Dr Bishwajit Roy's tenure ended on June 14 this year.
