BUET admission test results published, 33pc pass

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) admission test results have been published.
The results show that 1,980, out of 5,944 examinees, who sat for the written test have been preliminary selected and placed on the waiting list for admission.
According to the results, the pass rate in the admission test is 33.03 per cent. almost 67 per cent of the examinees have failed in the admission test.
After viva voce examination, 1,215, out of 1,980 students will be given chance for admission to the BUET this year. Besides, the number of seats is 1,215 this year.
The results of the admission test were published on BUET's website and notice board on Thursday (November 25) night.
The pre-selection phase of the BUET admission test was held on October 20 and 21. From there, 6,000 candidates were selected for the written test which was held on November 6 where six candidates were absent. BUET has prepared the merit list based on the marks obtained in the written test.
