Educational institutions to remain closed for 2 weeks

Health Minister Zahid Maleque on Friday said all schools, colleges, and universities will remain closed for the next two weeks due to a surge of Covid-19 cases across the country.
“We decided to shut down all schools, colleges, and universities for the next two weeks after discussion with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the spread of coronavirus has increased sharply,” he said.
The health minister came up with the assertion while talking to reporters in the city’s Mohakhali over the update of the Covid-19 situation in the country.
