Sylhet faces food, pure drinking water crisis
Marooned by flooding, thousands of people of Sylhet are now facing a food and drinking water crisis.
“We do not have enough food or drinking water. All our belongings are underwater,”said Saleha Khatun, a resident of Chararpar of Sylhet city.
Floods are ravaging the country and vast areas starting from Sylhet-Sunamganj to northern Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Kurigram have been submerged by floodwaters.
